On question 4 (List three specific ways... one of your ideas), are we supposed to use ideas that have been used previously by other teachers of the deaf, or come up with our own plans?
The question reads, "List three specific ways the teaching of reading and writing can be taught jointly. You must cite a specific idea or reference in the text for at least one of your ideas."
The question says to "cite a specific idea or reference in the text" so two of these must be ideas from the text that you will explain. We talked about some of these in class and I expounded upon them in class. ONE idea can be your own strategy that you come up with from observations, your own ideas from putting together ideas from what we've read, ideas in Blackboard, etc.
I messed this up. I understood it to mean that we needed to cite a specific idea OR cite a reference in the text, so I cited ideas from elsewhere. Oops. I may need to talk to Mrs. White about this.
