My introduction

Hi, my name is Lindsay Bryant. I am finally getting the hang Of this blog thing. I am 21 and a senior here at EKU. My major is Middle School Education with a Science/Social Studies concentrations. My minor is American Sign Language. I never thought when I came to EKU that I would choose ASL as a minor. I first became interested in ASL when I was younger and my Dad bought me a folder that had te ASL alphabet on the front. I quickly learned it and showed all my friends! I never really went on from there until I came here to EKU. What made me want to take ASL was when I joined a sorority my freshman year one of my sisters was a Deaf Education major. It took my a full year To even register for ASL 101 because it was so popular but one I took it I was hooked! I am so lucky to be able to communicate with the deaf as I have loved every second of Deaf education I have learned. I can't wait to use my ASL knowledge to further others in their deaf education.
