Historical Figure Project

Has anyone started the "Historical Figure" project, yet? I'm wondering how long this video needs to be. Any thoughts? Honestly, I'm a little overwhelmed by this thing and hoping it's easier than it looks. Looking at the "visual and illustrations" section of the rubric, I'm trying to think of things that we can use besides ASL and the whiteboard. Here's hoping my teammates are more creative than I am. Maybe I can do the research and do a bibliography on the whiteboard : ). I'm also more than a little concerned about the camera work. One of my team mates is our "techie", so hopefully she's got a good grasp on how to make this work because I'm technologically deficient when it comes to cameras. I'm thinking the Noel Studio is a must. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's ideas and creative execution of this project.

  1. How were the groups set up? I missed Monday as I was sick and the only time my Dr. could get me in was during the class time and living almost an hour away it's difficult.

  3. Heather Mrs. White let us choose our own groups. And there is no class on Monday so a lot of people are meeting in the class to work on the project.

  4. I need a group to work with, would it be possible to work in your group Jessica? Are you all meeting in the classroom on Monday? Thanks so much for your response.

  5. The project seems kind of overwhelming to me too but once our groups get together I'm sure it won't be too bad. Usually once you start something you wonder why you were ever so worried about it to begin with, or at least I do haha.

  6. I was wondering if anyone knew another way to put together the project without using power point. I know Mrs. White mentioned something in class we could use, but I can not seem to remember.
