My name is Justin Riesenberg and I am from Burlington, Ky. To answer your question, yes it is near the Florence Y'all tower. I had my first deaf encounter when I was working at my local YMCA when I was 14 and met a deaf Family. The mom, dad, and their 3 boys were deaf. I started to learn sign by hanging out with them and after that started to become interested in Deaf Culture. I'm taking this class because it it part of the Deaf Studies major to which I will graduate and pursue a career in the Technology field involving the Deaf Community.
