Introduction =)

Hi guys!
My name is Hannah Johnson. I am going into Deaf Education (Obviously, right?). I started out as a nursing major, but once I took my first ASL class I knew that I wanted to pursue a career working with the Deaf and hard of hearing. ASL was always something that fascinated me and I always wanted to learn it but never really had the opportunity until a few semesters ago. One of my favorite poems is "The Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost. I love how it talks about way leading on to way, and I truly believe that I started school just exactly when I did for a reason. I also believe that it was no coincidence that there was an ASL class offered the semester before I was to start the nursing program.   I always said that I would never be a teacher, but here I am and loving every minute of it so far! I'm looking forward to learning how to better teach my future students!
